They make a handy reference and are invaluable to those sitting for their certificates of competency.

Motor EK Study Guides are now available

Break the knowledge required for the Certificates of Competency into manageable sections. The Study Guides are small A5 size booklets which cover the information required to answer the questions in the written and oral exams.

Each book is printed with line drawings and full colour illustrations and has the relevant questions for the subject under consideration printed at the end of each book.

E-Books are now available to download. These allow the information to be browsed on a computer without connecting to the internet. The Chief Engineer and Second Engineer Exam Questions are now available. These contain the same questions, answers and sketches as featured in the members section.
